ABOUT TIM
BEHIND THE EASEL
Tim is the former Director of Art at Malvern College. He is passionate about Art and Design with a career spanning many years dedicated to art education as Artist in Residence and Tutor, having held the posts of acting Head of Department at Clifton College, then Director of Art at Cranleigh School and in recent years at Malvern College. He is at present Vice Chair of the Board of Governors of Hereford College of Art and fellow of the RSA.
During his career he has accomplished several commendable achievements including being accredited as Course Director of the BTEC Foundation course and introducing the course at Malvern College (the first school in the country to run the course!) He was also a senior examiner for A level Art and History of Art – OCR/EDEXCEL, a lead examiner for the International Baccalaureate, and an External Verifier for the BTEC Art Foundation Course. Tim also served on the National Committee for Art and Design as ATL representative.
He is a committed and enthusiastic artist with paintings exhibited in RWA, RBSA, Mall Galleries and White’s Gallery Covent Garden to name but a few.
